This more “conventional” service is formatted by a time of congregational singing followed by a sermon. The first half-hour will have announcements, and occasionally special music.
Although the children might be brought into the Family Bible Hour for the singing, typically our classes will begin at 11:00 AM. All children are welcome to join our classes for age-appropriate and interactive learning.
Beginning with a 35 minute time of prayer for our church members, families, and special requests, we take the remainder of the time to study either a devotional book or take a more in-depth look at what was taught on the previous Sunday at the Family Bible Hour.
This service is held weekly on Sunday mornings. While some churches only practice the Lord’s Supper monthly or less, we at ARBC believe that the Lord’s Supper is a sacrament that is to be held every week just as the disciples did.
